The Cheers Day – Customs Fees and Duties Terms

1. Introduction
These terms cover customs duties, taxes, and related import charges (collectively, “Import Duties”) for purchases from The Cheers Day (“we,” “us,” “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
2. Duties, Taxes & Fees
2.1 Responsibility
The recipient is responsible for all Import Duties assessed by the destination country’s customs authorities.
2.2 Affected Destinations
Import Duties may apply to shipments outside the EU customs union, including (but not limited to) the USA, Canada, United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, and others. Within the EU, customs duties generally do not apply. Special territories (e.g., Canary Islands) may be exceptions.
2.3 Amounts & Estimates
Amounts vary by country, product classification, and declared value. We do not provide exact figures. Please contact your local customs office for estimates before ordering.
2.4 Delays
Customs processing may delay delivery. Quoted transit times exclude customs clearance time.
2.5 Shipping Terms
All shipments are sent without prepaid duties/taxes. This means you may need to pay customs charges directly to your local courier or customs authority upon delivery.
3. Customs Documentation
3.1 Accurate Details
Provide complete and accurate recipient information at checkout. Inaccuracies may cause delays, extra fees, or returns.
3.2 Lawful Declarations
We accurately declare contents and value. We will not mark shipments as gifts or lower values; doing so is unlawful.
4. Refusal/Non‑Payment
4.1 Unpaid Duties
If Import Duties are not paid and the parcel is returned or destroyed, no refund will be provided. Since all of our products are customized and made to order, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds under these circumstances. You are responsible for any costs related to refusal or non‑payment.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
5.1 Personalized Products
All products from The Cheers Day are personalized. Therefore, they are non‑refundable and non‑returnable under any circumstances, including but not limited to customs refusal, delays, or abandonment.
5.2 Duties Already Paid
Duties/taxes paid in your country are typically non‑refundable through us. Please contact your local authority for potential reclaim procedures.
6. Legal Compliance
You are responsible for complying with your country’s import laws. The Cheers Day is not liable for legal consequences arising from non‑compliance.
